AMWCP (Arizona Municipal Workers' Compensation Pool) was formed in 1996 and currently has 59 member municipalities. AMWCP is a nonprofit corporation owned and operated by its members with the goal of minimizing accidents and reducing workers' compensation insurance costs. AMWCP is a cooperative effort among Arizona municipalities designed to assure that members meet statutory requirements to provide workers' compensation and employer's liability coverages for their employees and volunteers. Since its inception AMWCP has shown that working together offers the best approach to workers' compensation coverage and mitigation of exposures. |
