The Pools are financially strong and continue to be a long term solution. Investments are undertaken in a manner that seeks assurance of capital conservation. A sound portfolio diversification program is maintained in order to avoid unreasonable risk.

The Pools and SWRS supervise annual financial audits and actuarial reviews performed by certified public accounting firms and professional actuarial firms. Additionally, Arizona Revised Statutes require the Arizona Department of Insurance conducts triennial audits.
